As one of the first schools in the world to do Disney’s Newsies nearly 5 years since it’s departure from broadway we knew that it would be special. It was a hidden gem, not as popular as our previous years production of Beauty and the Beast but a Disney classic that all should see.
I found myself in the role of Theatre Communications Director at the time working closely with Kelly Kamp (our Director) to manage social media marketing strategy as well as all content production.
During show week we produced a set of teasers & trailers as well as various photography to promote the show in full costume and tech week a few days before opening night.
